Los Santos
Information
This single origin coffee comes from the mountainous Zona de Los Santos region in Costa Rica. The coffee thrives at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,900 meters above sea level and grows on loamy soil. The Caturra and Katuai varieties are hand-picked and sorted between January and May and then processed as washed coffee.
Preparation
This coffee is suitable for both dark filter coffee and creamy espressos and milk drinks made from them.
Roast Level
Our preferred roast level for balanced, round espressos.
The lighter roast, roasted for testing purposes, surprised with unexpectedly positive feedback. Therefore, we are now offering the lighter roast with a recommendation for milk-based beverages, on a trial basis.
