Unlike traditional methods where oxygen greatly influences the flavors, this coffee is processed in an airtight environment. The result is a coffee with pleasant notes and a more complex flavor profile characterized by delicate fruit aromas, caramel, and spices.
Origin
This coffee comes from the fertile soils of the Macuba sector in the Nyamasheke district, Western Province, Rwanda – an area known for its exceptional coffee production. The farms, which stretch at an average altitude of 1600 to 2100 meters above sea level, benefit from ideal climatic conditions and fertile, acidic soil. This strategically advantageous location, combined with the carefully selected Red Bourbon coffee beans, significantly contributes to the unparalleled taste.
Unique
Womens Crown is a symbol of empowerment and social justice. The entire value chain – from harvesting to packaging – is carried out by women of the Gasharu Coffee Cooperatives in Nyamasheke, Western Province, Rwanda.
